Stocky and muscular from a life of hard work and adventure-seeking, Aja is often dwarfed by other Viera at a height of six fulms. The distinctly leporine features of her clan are immediately apparent: large, thickly-furred ears, a hare-like tail, and clawed feet most often hidden in boots.Aja could be considered handsome, with a strong jaw, high cheekbones, an aquiline nose and a full mouth. Her face, framed by unruly red curls, is one most suited to crooked smirks and smarmy, sharp-toothed grins. A pair of pince-nez with red, near-opaque lenses are a permanent accessory, likely as much a shield for sensitive eyes as they are a means for bettering her poker face.Her skin is deep brown with warm undertones, touched by scattered scars of varying age and severity. Ceruleum burns and fractal scarring mark her left shoulder, which leads to a gunmetal grey mechanical prosthetic of seemingly Garlean make.Passionate, gregarious, and uncouth to some, a quick wit often smooths over or carries her through what charm won't. Though often cocky and irreverent to the core, her near-perpetual grin is offset by the occasional, faraway look when she thinks no one's watching.

A rough and tumble leveret and Warder who grew into a cocky, maladjusted freedom fighter. Most recently, she has settled into life as a mercenary - or "adventurer" in polite company. Though the passing of seasons has made her marginally humbler, it's never quite filed off her smarm.Aja speaks little of her distant past if she can help it, having fallen easily, eagerly into the way of the world beyond the Wood.Born into the dark, twisted undergrowth of the Hyskarian Deepwood, Aja's life after childhood was a Wood Warder's largely solitary existence. Some seasons later, she left the Wood's boughs for the world beyond, finding a home in Rabanastre. There, ever searching for a cause and a place to belong, she took up arms with the Dalmascan Resistance.Most recently, she is living in Shirogane, carrying out an adventurer's (or sellsword's) odd jobs and undertakings.

I. An empty stomach and the promise of gil has drawn her into Kugane's underbelly. She can often be spotted at the docks late at night or carrying sensitive deliveries throughout Othard.II. Following a schism with a small band of Resistance members in Dalmasca who turned to the Empire, she has since been pursued by them. Their leader is a highlander woman known only as The Bear.III. In the odd jobs she takes as an adventurer, Aja specializes in bodyguard, hunting, and bounty hunting work. She's a regular fixture at any given hunt board. Need something stabbed or hauled? Just ask!IV. Though she manages basic upkeep on her prosthetic, Aja has been in search of a more specialized technician or engineer for much needed repairs and upgrades. She is also always in search of ways to manage her phantom limb pain, which worsens as her prosthetic arm ages.V. However bittersweet, there is comfort to be found in those who remember the Wood. There's always room for chance meetings to have happened in Golmore, and she looks to her fellow wayward exiles with some degree of wistfulness.VI. She culled enough Garlean soldiers during her time in the Resistance to perhaps be recognizable (or feared), and "obtained" enough magitek parts to earn more than a few enemies. Certainly there is at least one bounty out for her head, and coming to collect isn't out of the question.

I. Some may recall Aja as a dedicated member of the Rabanastran Resistance some time before the city's fall, or perhaps just as a citizen of Rabanastre. To meet more Resistance survivors, and those who fight against the Empire, is a source of hope and relief.II. Aja has been known to linger outside of any given locale, leaning on anything halfway resembling a wall while she smokes. Eager to pass a cigarette to anyone who shares a story, the way she offers one of the finer pieces in her case to the more discerning enjoyer often acts as advertisement for Lofn's moko.III. Often sighted at Kugane's docks late at night, or carrying sensitive deliveries throughout Othard.IV. With a "procured" Garlean motorbike and general interest in machina, she can often be spotted frequenting junk shops in Kugane, smeared in grime.V. There is comfort to be found in those who remember the Wood. There's always room for chance meetings to have happened in Golmore, and she looks to her fellow wayward exiles with some degree of wistfulness.VI. Aja spent a period of time imprisoned in a Garlean Castrum, escaping with a small group of prisoners. Maybe a fellow prisoner - or an Imperial - remembers.
